Very unique straw poll type of brand started in the 1930s with the advent of the first All-Star game which was held as part of the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago. This was the brainchild of Arch Ward, then sports editor for the Chicago Tribune. The cigar smoker purchased his favorite league's cigar to show his support for the team of his choice.
